The idea of writing a musical about the early days of Ella Fitzgerald's career and her relationship with drummer Chick Webb has been swirling around my head for years and I finally decided I might as well go for it!

As such, along with publicist Alysia Welch-Chester, we are proud to host our first Holiday Concert Tribute and Fundraiser at New Jersey's own LOOKING GLASS POND on Friday, December 5, 2008. Doors open at 7p and the performance begins at 8p.

This special Holiday performance features myself, pianist Mike Eckroth and bassist Morrie Louden, along with the music of Ella Fitzgerald. Contributions will benefit the 2009 GilesJazz Ella Musical and Broadway Development Project Fund.

Looking Glass Pond is located at 800 Alexander Road (down the street from NJT's Princeton Junction station) in Princeton, New Jersey. Tickets are $20.00 SEATING IS LIMITED!
